Can any post a link to a video about unpacking Grevious? I need to put him back in the box.

oh wait....
hrm. darn figure is already out in these pics. :(
usually they show it in the box, etc

:(

always take reference photos when unpacking a complicated piece such as grievous. :)

I learned that the hard way! RS keeps a very good photo archive for pretty much anything SW. Anything else I now take my own pics.

If I ever move, I think I am just going to have to leave Grievous here and buy another one for the new location. I'll never get it back into the box.

I gotta say man, even with reference photos, it took me at least an hour to get him back in and do all the twisty-ties properly. sheesh, next time I take him out will probably (hopefully) be the last.

here's some bigger pics of mine, dont know if it will help but at least you get a better look at the arms.

The legs and torso should be easy to pack. The arms are the only hard part.

Grievous Arms

Legs and Torso

Yeah, not looking forward to possibly having to box him up when I get my own place. Since, I plan to stay here in town (hey I'm 3 mins from work anyplace in town :lol) I may just take the arms off and keep the body together having someone drive me to my new place. When that day happens.

Boxing Grievous is my biggest fear. If I weren't so scared of doing it I would box him up and put him someplace safe until I have more display room since he takes up the space of two whole figures.

boxing him up isnt anything to be afraid of, it just takes about an hour of your time. there's only the arms that are tricky because of all those damn twisty ties. the legs and torso are simple.

I boxed up Grevious about a month ago without any reference pictures. It took me about 1 1/2 hours. The twisties can drive anyone insane. I won't be taking him out of the box until I get a display case.

Good luck.

When you do that can I have your old one?

I wonder if it'd be worth the drive all the way to California.

I've had trouble fitting stuff back into their boxes, it seems you can never get it back in the way it was. But then again, I still haven't had anything as complex or detailed as a PF to pack.

I am so happy i could find this thread, I need to box up mine to move in next month or so. This thread should be a sticky LOL

Seeing what I went through to unbox it, ensures that I'll never sell it and if I move it'll be lapcarried. :lol

I thought the same thing but lap carried seems even more dangerous. I have considered just bubble wrapping the hell out of each piece and then loosely place in box and put in front seat with seat belt on.:lol

Ok I went for it, all the pics in the links made it fairly easy. But still took about an hour and a half.

Now I only have like 20 12" figures, 5 PFs, couple scales vehicles and half a dozen GG bust to get boxed up.
:horror:horror
