I don't have it on order, but it looks pretty darn nice. It's the first I've heard of it, TBH. Keep us updated.

I ordered it when it first went up, so I've had it for a couple weeks now. I like it--they did a very good job, and to be honest the paint is more accurate to the ship than the larger replica. Overall I say it's worth the money

Do you have any of the ornaments? I have 3 of them and this one from qmx is only 2" longer than those. I'm curious at comparisons. Mine arrives Wednesday so I will be able to compare then. I just hope it's a good scale.

can you post some pics and also give a scale representation? i am interested but i wanna get a feel for how big it is. im glad they made this but i would have preferred something larger that cost around $300. the big damn version is too ridiculously expensive and i'm afraid this one is too small for my tastes.

I too received mine about 2 weeks ago. I really like mine. the only problem was the stored shuttle doesn't fit in its storage space as well as I would have liked. The flying shuttle makes up for it, as they have a unique way of showing it in flight. I would have liked one a little larger. This one is about 8" long, but I would like something about 12" long. The detail and paint apps are really nice. Overall I'd say 4 out of 5 stars. It is definitely worth the money it cost.

Here you go

Anybody have problems getting the ship to fit into the base? The post seems a little off center on my base, and subsequently, it won't go in very far.

it was a whole lot smaller then I was expecting. The only dimension it has listed on SS is 8" H, so I took a chance thinking the scale would be lot bigger. Turns out the width is 8" and its only 5 1/2" H :slap

In all honesty, NOT worth $100. I think $50 would have been more reasonable. She's light, she feels like plastic. I dunno. Nothing 'wow' about her at all. Not to say I don't like it. But it's just not worth what they are asking.

Having her though, we are heavily considering getting BDR. We're going to discuss it over the next couple of months.

Looks great!

I'm getting one from my LCS but I don't know when it is coming in. ordered it about 2 weeks ago.

So I saw this in hand yesterday, a friend of mine just got his and came around to compare it to my BDR.

My very first reaction was, that's smaller then I expected, at a basic guess, I'd say the BDR is 2.5 times larger. Now one could just totally pick the little serenity apart, from lack of detail to basic paint apps (no logo?) to why the 'mirror' solar panels are a funny silver colour.
But at the end of the day, when you consider the difference in price points, well, what would you expect. As a cheap little item for your office desk, it does the job, as a Serenity collectible, you need to look elsewhere.

BuffyGirl, if you have any BDR questions, let me know.
But

Although to be fair, the BDR solar panels were crappy as well--they didn't cast a clear piece to cover them (like with all the different shapes like on the real one) and instead just put a thick piece of clear plastic over it.

Looks awesome!

What do you all think will happen with this on the secondary market/clearance?

Do you think it might go down in price?

Even though I don't think it's the best, I believe once it sells out, it will not go down. It will go up. Small, yes. Fabulous still, yes!
