I thought these sculpts were done by Jim Maddox, but I could be mis-remembering.

You could be right. Darren C worked with him a lot on Star Trek, so I had assumed he did those too. Either way, Nanjin has an eye for Trek and hopefully they'll come out at a reasonable price. The one thing I'm concerned about his how long before they're released now.

Fantastic to see these become widely available!

I liked having limited pieces, but it is nice that he gets to share these with a wider audience now.

Nanjin has made the phaser rifle, though I'm not sure if its for one of his projects or the newer licensed figures.

Nanjin said he hoped for Q2 release, but I've just noticed that on Spock's card it says ETA Q3 2016 - So, not too bad a wait.

I've just looked through the threads and Nanjin did mention the sculpt was by Jim Maddox.

I hope the first run goes well and QMX release the "Fascinating" sculpt too, because that blows this one out of the water IMO. I'm in for whatever they produce anyway.

Darren is indeed great but I know that amazing TOS Kirk sculpt was done by Inigo. I think Jim Maddox did the amazing TOS Spock.
