QUEEN STUDIOS 1:3 BATMAN STATUE UPDATE
Today we’re pleased to share with you more work in progress images of the Bale head sculpt.

BALE'S EYES
Christian Bale captured both Batman and Bruce Wayne perfectly in the Dark Knight Trilogy with his expressive eyes. Although subtle, his eyes expressed many different emotions and feelings. For the viewer, we could see that his character was dark and brooding, as well as resilient and courageous.

To capture Bale’s look, our artists have used the same innovative techniques used on the 1:3 The Joker statue. These techniques help us to achieve a more realistic expressive eyes that captures Bale’s emotions just like the film depiction.

BALE'S FACIAL FEATURES
Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy has a distinct colour scheme. When painting Bale’s face, our artists have paid attention to every detail using warm and cold colours to capture the colour scheme from the movie and show the intricate details in the skin tone.

In order to replicate the colour scheme on every statue, Queen Studios won’t be using an automated assembly line. Instead, experienced painters will hand paint the skin, adding careful detailing and layers that can only be captured by hand to show a realistic skin texture.

The 1:3 Batman statue is still a work in progress and we’ll be sharing more updates soon. Thanks for the continued support!

We’re pleased to share with you the final image of the Queen Studios 1:3 Batman as a whole. We’ve made some incredible progress recently, and tomorrow we’ll be sharing a collection of images with more information about the statue.

We’d also like to thank you for sharing constructive feedback on the Bale head sculpts. We’ve collected this and passed it on to our artists. No doubt we’ll be able to make some tweaks and changes to make this collectible even better!

Hard to completely judge this piece when you can't see the batman cowl that much since most are shot from a higher angle.

The 1:3 Dark Knight Batman is expertly crafted out of polystone and comes with three unique head sculpts. A Cowl head sculpt, a head sculpt with Christian Bale's likeness with sculpted hair, and a Christian Bale head sculpt with artificial hair.

There will be two versions of the base:
The first base will come with the 1:3 Dark Knight Batman statue, and will allow the statue to be displayed alone.
The second base will give collectors the option to display the Dark Knight Batman with the Heath Ledger Joker.
Both statues have been designed as stand alone pieces, but you can also recreate the famous interrogation scene from the Dark Knight movie.

In order to offer more choice for collectors, there will be three versions of the statue.
1. Standard Edition: Batman Cowl head sculpt
2. Premium Edition: Batman Cowl head sculpt + Christian Bale likeness head sculpt with sculpted hair
3. Deluxe Edition: Head sculpt with the Cowl + Christian Bale likeness head sculpt with artificial hair

And the head sculpt in the final images is not the final version, we are still working on it to make it as best as we can.
The head sculpts shown in the official photos will not be the final version. As always, we will continue to improve the statue for the final production piece.

I don’t understand why they would sell it separately. Should’ve come with both premium and deluxe versions. At least deluxe version.

So who is getting what? I missed out on rotted hair Joker otherwise I'd get the Deluxe (considering it wont sell out in seconds like Joker).
