Hi, I'm new to this hobby. I have a seller who's willing to sell his pop culture shock exclusive zangief, evil ryu exclusive and vega exclusive for 2200 for all 3. I don't really know how much they're worth, could you guys tell me if it a good buy? Thanks in advance

He's very knowledgeable on the current market prices :)

Or better yet, post the same question on StatueForum, you'll get a lot more answers there.

Well I know Zangief sells for over $1,000 and Vega sells for about $950. Just look up evil Ryu. But it sounds like a good deal.

which vega exclusive? there was one from SS and another "uber exclusive" directly from Jerry.

Either way it's a good deal...

Vega ex is 650-750
Zangief 1000
And evil ryu is 1k+

If its a green vega than that's an even better deal

That's an average of over 700 per statue. I think it's a complete waste of money and you could use that to commission an excellent sculptor/painter to make your own Street Fighter statues far superior to those old PCS ones, but I know people go crazy for this PCS stuff and if you're one of them then go ahead. I just can't stomach the idea of spending that much for three PCS statues.

Good idea! Comission your own piece. Wow. :goodpost:

But I do doubt they'd be superior to PCS statues. They could be great but the thing about it is, it'd be so cool to make your very own rare statue.

I'm fairly confident they could be superior to a PCS statue. Depends who you commission I guess, but yeah there is a lot of potential with commissioning. You could do a character PCS might not ever do.

He should commission Andre Cooper from statueforums, that guy is brilliant. But Monger with commission pieces; I have owned a commission 1/4 scale Deadpool, 1/4 scale Batman, and a 1/4 scale Logan and the thing is that they and all commission cannot match the detail and fine intricacy of SideShow and PCS. With the very fine paint application and intricate little sculpting. Who knows though, maybe if you pay someone enough. But this is the reason I sold my Batman and Deadpool commissions; I'd rather have the SideShow one's. I'm swore off commission pieces for this reason.
