So I just purchased a few wines I wanted to collect. Even had them signed by the maker. Is it true that if I don't keep them chilled and turn them frequently.....they'll go bad?

These I bought are red wines.

Danny, my home brewed wine is good any time. You have nothing to worry about with regards to your recent purchases.:lol:lol:lol

My wife collects Marilyn Monroe wines. Some of the bottles we bought only a few years ago go for over 10 times what we originally paid for them. Take that you depreciating SW figures!

There are usually two different Marilyn wines released a year. You can pick up a bottle for around $20 to $30. Some of the ones we bought 10 years ago now go for a few hundred each. And most of the ones from the 80s are now worth thousands. :google

NICE! I just don't plan on drinking them. As long as they hold some value unopened regardless of it being "spoiled", I'm cool with that. Thanks Batty, for a moment I was really PISSED thinking I stood all that time. Practically fighting to get bottles of wine signed by Maynard Keenan for nothing.

:rock

We don't plan on drinking ours either. It was just a way to buy a nice Marilyn collectible without breaking the bank.

Did Maynard sign the bottles in person?

He sure did. The guy is practically my height. :google

Surrounded by "RENT A COPS", but in reality they looked mean as hell. San Antonio normally doesn't have huge mofo police like that, not even in the jails.

That's cool. Was this a one time signing? That could definitely make your bottles worth something down the road.
