He was in a few great flicks, I'll always remember him as Cabbie from Escape From New York.

When someone this old dies, I'm usually like "Oh, so he was still alive?"

Not Borgnine - I was fully aware he was still around.

He starred in lots of good movies. One particular recommendation that is not often mentioned: Emperor of the North Pole

Sad day, but he's lived a lengthy rich life. RIP.
