Calm down. Nothing has been oficially announced yet, but with Raiders/Indy 4 coming out next summer, and a whole bunch of potential licensees anounced, it is hopefully a sign that Sideshow wont be far behind.

If in fact Sideshow is awarded to Indy licence for high-end collectables, what kind of stuff would you like to see?

Personally, I would buy the definitive 12" version of Classic Indy. You know, Indy in his traditional leather jacket, fedora, khakis, and bullwhip. It could come with the Hovito fertility idol, pistol, and a set of removable Arab robes from the Staff of Ra scene. The exclusve could be the staff itself. If Sideshow ever did this, it would no doubt be one of their hottest sellers.
Then I would go ahead and get Belloq in his Jewish ceremonial robes from the end of the film, with removable head, and bloody pieces of head chunk in a plastic bag.

And of course no collection is complete without a beautiful 1/6th vac-metalized replica of the Ark of the Covenant.

Other characters that must be made (even though I probably wouldn't rush to buy them) would be Marion, Thot (with an interchangeable "melting" head), Sallah, Dietrich, and Indy in a Nazi uniform, with bazooka. If they went ahead and made a "battle-ravaged" Indy with torn clothes, Shankara stones and a machete from the end of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom , and a Mola Ram, I'd be all set.

What kind of stuff would you like to see from Sideshow commemorating the release of Raiders 4 in '08?

Well, for starters...

Premium Format "Raiders of The Lost Ark" Indy (Ex. w/ Golden Idol and Staff of Ra headpiec)

1/6 Indy - ROTLA
1/6 Indy - TOD
1/6 Indy - TLC
1/6 Indy - INDY IV

1/6 Ark of The Covenant

I would want 1/6 Indy RoTLA
1/6 Henry Jones TLC
1/6 Short Round
1/6 Ark of the Covenant
1/6 Marian Ravenwood
(don't like ToD, so none of that for me)

I think they should release two versions of the Ford Indy, Two of the Young Indy from TV, none of Sean Connery, and one villain. :monkey3

WOAH, Dr.Mirakle32...I almost had a heart-attack when I read post header...Thought maybe you had some 'inside' information! :D

I've been using this signature photo for ages and started the "INDY, INDY, INDY" thread last summer:

Enough said! Now SS, give us some INDIANA JONES!!! 1/6 and PF please!!! Fingers crossed for announcement/previews at SDCC...

Just give me Indy, Shortround and that Nazi guy that wears the black leather trench coat in the desert for the first flick :lol

Oh, and

Temple of Doom > Raiders > Grail

Arnold Toht.

I'd only really like a 1/6 Indy and made by any of the following,

1.Enterbay
2.Hot Toys
3.Medicom

If SSC get the Indy license they should just stick to what they do best ie PF's,busts & statues.

As long as the 1/6 Indy is inclusive and not a PPO I would be happy. :)

I'd honestly buy it all. That is one license that I would love to own just about every character from. strange I guess, but I love those films so much. I'd also love to sculpt just about every character from the films. It doesn't get better than Indiana Jones (you call him DOCTA Jones)

Sorry, but I'd rather NOT pay over 150 bucks for one 12" figure. If I absolutely HAD to, I suppose I would, but I would rather get one from SSC for under 50 bucks.

And yes, Dr Mirakle totally agree, but if we want quality we will have to pay
(and that is the most important - by this I mean the quality)

It's a popular property that for some odd reason hasn't been milked to death like Star Wars.

The only "real" figures available to everyone were 25 years ago. The recent Hasblo/Disney are junk.

Nice.

Hell, I'll buy every 1/6th figure produced.

i would set up a direct debit from my paycheck to SS and buy anything and everything they came out with.

Wish I could help you Wor-gar because I know you really want this one.
I found this photo long time ago while surfing the net and simply saved it. (the webpage or link, maker or event .. nothing on my harddisk)
If I remember well, it was a custom (can't tell if the sculpt was totally new or if he used a head from a Dragon soldier)
This is the only photograph I have (the Indy on the right also looks well made, no more info on this one also)

Thanks for the scoop. I do have my own Toht custom, but one can never have enough Tohts. :) I love that the guy added the hangar too.
