I'm very nostalgic for those figures. I had the green dude when I was a kid. But honestly, these don't blow me away.

Nostalgic?

Yes.

Blown away?

No.

If the figures were more refined in terms of design and scale as 1:6 figures, then I would be blown away.

As 1:12 figures, not blown away; however, very nostalgic of my youth and I'm inclined to buy a set. At the very least, they offer a contrast to the 1:12 GI JOE CLASSIFIED figures.

The price is a bit up there being north of the $200.00 threshold.

Yeah, for 6 inch figures, if I were to pay about $90 per, I would expect to get something really special, or possibly something hand-crafted. These do not appear to be that. They look clunky, head sculpts are mediocre, etc.

Yeah, but there are collectors who'll pay $90.00 (and up?) for some GI JOE CLASSIFIED figures.

I know.

Apples & Oranges

There's always a supply and demand consideration with stuff, and we all make decisions we're comfortable with. Zartan is one of my top two favorite Joe characters. Luckily I was able to get the SDCC exclusive for retail, but was I willing to shell out $70-80 if I had to? Yes. I wouldn't begrudge anyone paying for these Centurions, but they feel to me like they should cost $25-30 max. Beyond the apparent quality and size, they are unlicensed. Generally unlicensed stuff should go for less, not more, than a licensed equivalent. . .

Yeah, the pricing on these unlicensed figures is really off putting. It's cool to see the Centurions again, but the price is not right.

And where are the bad guys? Those guys were pretty wild.
