Birdman: Or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance

One of those movies that demands multiple viewings and is 100% open to interpretation of the viewer. A black comedy that, while not for everyone is surely will garner disdain, just reminds you why you watch movies in the first place. A near faultless movie if I ever saw one.

10/10.

Yes sir! Deathproof was b@d@ss.

Kurt Russell's character was fun to watch, but my absolute favorite is stuntwoman Zoe Bell. She was the one on the hood during the final car chase scene.

She was great, she’s a real stunt woman in real life right?

New Hunger Games: 6.5/10

Pretty good, but it seems unnecessarily long, as if they stretched out the last two movies for financial rather than storytelling purposes. End was pretty dang anticlimactic.

Big Hero 6: 7.5/10

Really good.

Hunger Games Mockingjay 6/10 I liked it. But all and all it was a pretty simple movie. I haven't read any of the books but I think they've done a very good job with the series so far.

Spongebob Squarepants: Sponge Out of Water: I don't know how to rate this movie because it absolutely is NOT for parents (unlike Big Hero Six, Pixar movies, etc.) I wouldn't recommend it to anyone older than 8 but my kids loved it.

Tank Girl (1995): 7/10 I avoided this one when it came out because the trailers made it look SO idiotic (and unfortunately went and saw Waterworld, Batman Forever, and Judge Dredd instead) but I found it to be highly entertaining and unpredictable. A 27 year old Naomi Watts didn't hurt either.

Planet of the Apes TV Series: 8/10

Big Hero 6: 8.5/10 "Loved this film. Very well done."

Chef: 9/10

Horns: 8/10

The Interview: 4/10 "I generally liked the film but what ruined it for me the most was how annoying James Franco was. Seth Rogen as always was good. Not sure why Franco went for that annoying approach. I usually like the guy."

Planet of the Apes 2001: 5/10

Grand Budapest Hotel. Don't understand all the academy love for it... it was ok but nothing special. 5/10

Comic Book Villains. I just happened to catch it on tv. Weird movie with an impressive cast that starts out pretty good but the ending gets a little weird. Overall I'd give it a 6.5/10

Lucy. Thought I was going to hate it. It was kind of dumb but fun dumb. 6/10
