Lucy - 6/10 Cool concepts that weren't explored correctly, I can see the philosophy but it was stupidly watered down.

I usually think ScarJo is overrated, but boy she looks hawt.

Beowulf (1999) - 5/10 - Most of those points are for Rhona Mitra looking hawt. Flick is 90's bad. Take Mortal Kombat and Amy of Darkness and smash them between Mirta's cleavage. That is this movie.

:lol

More like The Witcher in post-apocalyptic setting, which is an awesome concept.
And Lambert was the **** back there! :rock
Production design was pretty good for such a shlock.

that...... that sounds ****ing awesome :rock.... I would see that, and buy the Bluray...... and the action figures :rotfl

Black Rock (2012) - 5/10

When camping on a small island Kate Bosworth and two other girls tick off some hunters that were recently dishonorably discharged from Iraq and must fight for their lives. I tend to like movies where people are being hunted in the woods and this one wasn't horrible. It held my interest throughout.

Revenge of the Sith (2005) - 6/10

I recently watched the final season of the Clone Wars which I thought was very well done. Talk about 11th hour damage control. So then I decided to watch ROTS immediately after and I find that it plays much better as the theatrical finale of a TV series then as an actual chapter of the main SW saga.

Honestly, the only thing that was really pissing me off till the glitch, was that stupid girl sidekick of Natalie's.

completely useless to the story. She should've stayed on 'Two Broke Girls' or whatever.
Thank you! :lol :hi5:

Glad to know I wasn't the only one that thinks Dennings is utterly useless.

Don't see the hate for Thor 2. I really like it. Bought the Blu ray and saw it twice in theatres.

She's the best part of the movie compared how ****** everything else is.
I guess having only watched half of it so far.. it's hard to debate anything with you on it.. except..

..that girl ****ing blows, sorry. :lol

I haven't read any THOR comics, just watched the old 60s motion comics on TV back in the day when they were reran in the 80s, & read a little online & whatnot - so my knowledge is pretty limited. That said, I got up to where the bad elves stormed Odin's palace or whatever, & the big dude stares out Loki in his cell on his way through. I liked most of it up to there, so.. :huh

The hate, at least from me comes in the form of predictable lame story, horrible villain, honestly, Malekith is nothing like in the movie, uber boring action, awkward characters in general etc etc

It's got a lot of fun parts and it's mostly thanks to Dennings, which makes her less useless that Jane herself.

Honestly? More than Portman?

I love Thor, he's my favorite Marvel guy, I expect much more from his movies but I don't think Disney can deliver what I expect.

Thor 1 was more than decent though.

Kat Dennings was the only thing I enjoyed in Thor 2. That and Thor's mommy's fight scene.
:exactly:

It's funny that Thor's mom has better fight scenes than Thor himself :lol

I have seen the first one (& own it), so I can see what you mean about Natalie to a degree - she's not the right fit for these films. That said, I'm a big fan of hers - not counting SW EpII & III or the other throw away crap she's done.

Her sidekick? They could've replaced her with a well trained Labrador & it wouldn't have made an iota of difference - in fact, I'd enjoy it more because the dog would actually be cute & helpful. :lol

But she's not supposed to be helpful, but the exact opposite, she isn't even a science student, she's supposed to be funny, I don't like her broke girls show, and I'm not really a fan of her, but she made things better in the movie.

A movie has to be abysmal if a comedic relief tertiary character is one of the highest points.

This isn't a spoiler but it's later in the movie.
