Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay: 7/10

Extremely brutal movie! The novelty of some of the deaths may actually push my grade up a bit. Bronze Tiger is one of those C-list comic characters that you never expect to see treated with much respect in various media, but he was done really well. The respect that the other Squad members had toward him felt legitimate. The deal with Reverse Flash was also a pretty cool twist. I always liked Deadshot, and am glad DC is making him a second tier hero worthy of some attention. His semi-heroic personality is a bit tough to jibe with the fact that he coldly murders countless people though, some of whom are just military-types doing their jobs. But it works well enough. I guess Deadshot is DC's answer to the Punisher in some ways (since Wild Dog is never going to get much attention).

Replicas - 8/10

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs - Started as 8.5/10 then turned into 4/10.

Captain America: the Winter Soldier - 7.5/10

The Upside 7/10.. good film based on a true story.WARNING:The previews for this film have already shown 80% of the Funny scenes so Don't go if you are expecting a full blown Kevin Hart comedy.

Aquaman - 7/10

Many reviews on here were spot on, the movie is very cheesy, poorly written with some particularly bad acting by certain characters...

BUT...

The visuals and action sequences make up for many of the detriments. Can't make up for everything, but when I came home I ordered the 3D disc because the effects/ visuals are spectacular.

I feel like the filmmakers are either very lazy or think their audience is stupid. Often times the character(s) walk into a place, remind the audience why they are there and then within 3 seconds there is a visual/ physical representation of what they just said, even if they had already set this thing up earlier on.

I also thought it was funny that every time there was a quiet moment, it was hastily interrupted by an explosion that introduced the bad guys. This happened over and over in the film, and by the 3rd time my wife and I were joking about it.

Also, every minute detail in the film was utterly predictable, I won't go into details cause I don't feel like doing mobile spoilers, but there wasn't a single surprise anywhere to be had.

Still, as bad as it was, I enjoyed it, warts and all.

Heredity 8.5/10

Plexworthy: no
Rewatchability :5/10

Excellent cinematography, great suspense and atmosphere. Reminded me of Kubrick and The Shining. Very unsettling, but not much to see after the ending.

Overall, a good story, with great timing and suspense.

Hahaha! The score! What I meant was after all if said and done, there is not much to go back and rewatch.

Escape room. A cheap fast horror trapped in a escape room with chained up killer , give a 4.

The mid 90's. A skater film very honest view on growing up and crazyness kids get into while parents not watching give a strong 7.

Vice. Christian bale the chamelon actor and great performance by full cast. I just dont do political movie's interesting story but left me even more confuzed as to 911 story. I dont know what to rate it other then plain entertaining movie to watch once n done.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron:
Still a great movie, almost 4 years later.
Some great lines in it.

Thought it was a bloated movie watching it in theatres. Since purchasing blu ray and watching at home many times I enjoy Age of Ultron very much. It has become my "go to” Marvel movie when I need a hit and don’t want the “Cosmic” Sci fi aspect of the MCU

Captain America: Winter Soldier 9/10

I am going back and rewatching the MCU films and OH MY GOD I forgot what a meticulously crafted film this was! With the somewhat bloated films coming out now in the MCU, WS reminded me that the best films are the character driven stories where our hero is driven by doing the right thing even when their support system shatters and everything they believed is turned upside down.
Captain America is my favorite MCU hero and this film was the beginning of that realization for me.

Aquaman - 6/10

Fantastic art direction, decent story, terrible dialogue and delivery. It all kind of evens out.
