I think it is more that he was a part of such craptastic films. It hurts when both films are touted as serious crime films and end up being kind of a joke (IMO at least). I mean, everyone expected DeNiro to get heavily critisized for his role in Rocky and Bullwinkle (what still seems to be a quick paycheck role, kind of like Kingsley in the Love Guru), but no one expected the Pacino films to be as bad as many felt they ended up being.

I didn't find anything wrong with either film and lets not forget the Razzies voted Stanley Kubrick as the worst director in 1980 (The Shining)

So I will everytime I hear the word "Razzie" They don't mean ^^^^ to me. Oh and lets not forget that in 1983 critics bashed Scarface and years later some of the same boneheads call it the ultimate gangster film ever made.

I can honestly say that before yesturday I never even knew about the "Razzies" or what the hell they were.
