that's sick! looks like graphite was used. did u dry brush or rub the paint on?

Love the use of shading with perfect highlights.

What did it look like before?

Looks great and the paint job is wonderful but I don't see the huge improvement. Was his armor actually this color and not blacker like the original?

Can we get before and after shots?

Ideally it would look somewhere in between this and the SSW paint job. Sauron has a very "fresh from the armory" feel to him, esp on the legs.

I live in Switzerland so that would be difficult...

I used colors from a model painting line and worked with brush!
About 15 hours of job... That is not too much... You just have to be patient, that's all!

It certainly has something to it. It's unusual seeing the statue like this. I'm tempted to say that it looks better than the original...

I think it's absolutely beautiful. A hundred times better than the pictures of the original I've seen. Just gorgeous.
