It is if its cheap. People like to hate on it for fun and hyperbolize on what a terrible sculpt it is. $35-40 is fair.

If you get it repainted its not that bad. (mine was repainted by Les Walker)

That Luke with the Medallion Looks aweosme!! wow that Head looks pretty badass!

Yeah, Les really brought out the best in that sculpt. Besides, if you watch the end scene, Hamill does look kind of different compared to the rest of the movie.

Yavin Luke always had a decent sculpt. He was just ruined by Hasbro-quality paint aps.

I always thought it was a decent figure... but I've not got 4 Lukes from Sideshow (5 if you count the Medicom) so Yavin and ESB are back in the box.

Please do! I've never seen clear images of the unpainted sculpt... although I remember the proto images looked very good.

If I remember correctly these scenes were shot first. This was so that C3P0 could be all shiney and glossy . Then off course they beat him all to hell !
