Remember when "Unrated" really meant something? WTF?!

How does unrated equal naked ****s?

We just watched the Unrated version of Knocked Up. Know what made it unrated? Denise Richards in the scene from Wild Things. Don't get me wrong, me likes ****s (a lot, actually) and the movie but I remember when they used to call that "R".

All unrated means these days is that they added something(anything) not found in the theatrical release and didnt submit the new version of the film to the MPAA.

They can add ANYTHING, and now it is an unrated version of the film.

It's sad to say, but I miss when Unrated meant you were seeing something you usually didn't see.

Yup, like the King says, it means that version of the film was not submitted of a rating.

A Unrated version of My Little Pony ain't gonna show any bewbies.

Unrated is definitely a more marketable term than Director's Cut, which is what a lot of them are, a few more scenes cut in, but the word unrated stirs up the notion that what's inside must be pretty interesting to need and unrated version.
