Reminder: Tuesday night 7 PM eastern.

All new director cut by Sam Raimi.

New scenes, more story according to the commercial. I think this is the long rumored Spider-Man 2.5 cut that was going to be released on DVD. I don't know how much is added but I would assume that it isn't going to amount to a lot (5-10 min.).

wish SS would get this film's license.
Id love a PF Doc Oc

Maybe Doc Ock won't be possessed by evil tentacles or sacrifice himself in this version. :monkey4

Well put! I didn't really care for Octavius being such a slave to the tentacles. The one that bugs me about Spiderman films is that the two villains aren't really responsible, so to speak.

In Spidey 1, the chemical injection Osbourne takes makes him crazy and hot tempered. And then in Spidey 2 the "inhibitor chip" breaks and the AI of the tentacles takes over...and wants to blow up the city???

I still love the films, but I hate how people can't just be bad! There has to be an outside reason for it.

Maybe this version will tell us how Dr Oct, who has no super powers beyond the metal arms, is able to take several of a super powered Spiderman blows to the head :monkey1 :monkey1

WELL...you can say that Spider-Man holds back on his punches...cause he doesn't want to kill anybody. Think they actually use this rational in the comics. Been so long since I read a spidey-origin, I don't remember...

You could argue as well that when the arms controlling pins were fused into his spinal cord that his nervous system and pain receptors were affected as well.

That was crap...I can't believe I wasted three hours watching a pan and scan version of basically the same movie...d@mn FX and their misleading commercial.

Sorry guys...guess it is technically the director's cut when it isn't edited for tv.

BTW, could they show another Dirt commercial?

Yeah, that was three hours of my life wasted. It seemd like there was a commercial break every five freaking minutes! If I never see Courtney Cox again, it'll be too damn soon.

Yeah, FX has really really been shoving that Dirt show down our throats... I mean 5 commercials every 30 minutes can get old really quick. :monkey4

So was there nothing new? Just edited for TV? I have it DVRed and just want to know if it is even worth my time to fast forward to new stuff.

DIRT !!!!!!https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15015 I even heard a couple of ads on the radio too...IS THERE NO ESCAPE ??????

Glad to know I didn't miss much with SM2. I was immediately turned off to it when they shoved that four-minute recap garbage from the first film in between the Columbia and Marvel credit screens. :monkey4
