Did anyone get the email for the resistance Beta? I did and signed up now I am waiting for the acceptance email saying i am in.

I have thought about that the one I have is the one my phone company supplied so I was wondering if I went to Wal mart and bought one could I replace the one I have now or will it cause problems with my DSL service? When it comes to this router stuff I am like a one legged man in an ass kicking contest.

It shouldn't have any bearing if you buy a new one. They are all the same essentially. If you already had one then your phone company wouldn't have given you that one. So I say go get it and you will be able to compete in the ass kicking contest with your brand new limb

See my problem is my Nat setting. Mfoga at one time showed me a way to get it from Nat 3 to Nat 2 and everything worked fine until around the time that MGO came out and I started having problems with talking to Loki and starting a game with Badmoon so I checked my setting again and it was back to Nat 3. Bagels tried for an hour to get it set back to Nat 2 but it still says it is Nat 3 so I am not for sure a new router will work for that problem.

If they are anything like some of the people we have played on Halo and Cod 4 it might be a blessing.

lol... to be honest i dont use the mic on LIVE either. with the kids cussing like sailors i usually set it on the coffee table. hopefully sony will package that nice looking headset packaged with SOCOM.
~~i'm passing on this game. i liked the first game,but it was nothing special. with all the upcoming releases i want something like Gears 2 or killzone 2.

So I got my BETA code tonight! DLing as we speak. I haven't played Resistance for over a year! But I am stoked to have Nathan Hale back in my life.

I've been playing the beta for about a week and all I can say is...I miss the old Resistance.

Yeah they emailed me a beta code today. I had signed up weeks ago, but forgot all about it. The game itself is alright, the whole 60-players thing is kind of cool, but I still prefer COD 4 or Halo 3.
Oh and I did not pre-order. I just signed up on the website a while ago.
