So many good characters like -
Tar man
Trash - zombie version
Frank & Freddy - zombie version
Suicide
"Send more cops" zombie

A diorama with the zombies feeding on the paramedics
or
A diorama of the beginning where Burt, Frank, and Freddy are holding down the reanimated corpse and sawing its head off
or
Ernie the embalmer, embalming the fat guy on the slab

So many ways to go on this one

Best scary/funny zombie movie that worked on both levels! Plus it gave the world the first fast zombies and the whole "braaaaaaaiiiins" motive that had not been associated with zombies before.

+1 for zombie and/or non-zombie Trash figure.

Yep, this is the first movie to show the sprinting zombie and braaaiiins yet there aren't many modern zombie movie aficionados who've seen it. They have no idea what they're missing.

One of my fav all time movies I own the limited edition bluray steelbook of this movie.

Didn't that version rip out most of the original music in the movie and replace it with something else?

Did this ever come out?

RETURN OF THE LIVING is an absolute cult classic; however, all of the sequels it spawned did not fare well . . . EXCEPT . . . for RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD III.

It's highly unlikely Sideshow would consider let alone acquire the ROTL license given how their in house brand THE DEAD did well and has remained on ice for quite a while.

In terms of recognition from the ROTL license opportunity, "TARMAN" would be the likely & obvious choice.

Now if Sideshow or another company managed to produce this in 1:6 or PF very well, then I'd buy one in a heartbeat provided the price was reasonable.

The primary female protagonist/antagonist from RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD III.
