Statue Robocop lifesize bust by Fred Barton (Sideshow Collectibles)

I bought a Robocop bust the other week and it has arrived. It is a great bust but sadly there is some damage. There are two chips to the paintwork and I was wondering if anybody knows if this can be fixed easily or, with the finish, is it a case that the whole paintjob needs to be done again.

I realise pics would be helpful but can't get them to work at the moment.

Anybody any ideas about whether the finish can be restored just by focusing on the area of damage or is it a case that the whole thing would need to be stripped and re-done.

Sorry for the damage. Unfortunately this is not surprising with the bust. You might pose this question in the "how to customs" thread. Silentsurfer would be a good person to ask too. He seems to be able fix anything.
