Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs or Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers Figures?

Since these are both sci-fi western themed cartoons I thought I would combine the topic. I tend to prefer statues but I would like either statues or figures for these cartoons. It's kind of funny how Japanese boxes label statues as figures and I usually think figures mean articulation. I think with Saber Rider and Galaxy Rangers we are more likely to get Japanese figures (statues) or Hot Toys figures before Sideshow type statues. I'm sure Sideshow would have little interest in making statues for Saber Rider. Galaxy Rangers is a stretch too even though it was an American cartoon but animated in Japan. Hot Toys makes anime figures from time to time. I remember the Appleseed figures. I can't remember anymore right now. Hot Toys does have a thing for the armored Iron Man suits and both the Star Sheriffs and Galaxy Rangers have the armored space suits on many times in the episodes. Although for Galaxy Rangers I would want the normal uniforms. Still, I would love something from both of these cartoons.

Interest in the Galaxy Rangers seems to have dropped after the DVD releases. They were working on a comic. I guess that was cancelled. The official site is down now as well...

Since Saber Rider has a Japanese version there have to be people that like both versions of the cartoon. I think it's popular in Germany too. Germany got a remastered DVD release. We still haven't received that yet. I know there are old toys for Saber Rider. Few toys exist for Galaxy Rangers. Plus, there is a portable Saber Rider videogame in the works. No one wants figures for these cartoons??? They are awesome cartoons. Maybe I should have created this thread in the statue section...

I loved Galaxy Rangers and would definitely be up for figures. Never saw Saber Rider.... Might have to track that one down...

Saber Rider is awesome. Especially if you like 80s Japanese cartoons with transforming stuff. And there is the whole sci-fi western theme like with Galaxy Rangers. The American soundtrack is really good too. They released two volumes for the show.

Edit - Perhaps a mod can move this to the "General Collectibles - Statues" section. Maybe it will get more attention over there...

I loved Saber Rider growing up. Was my favorite cartoon besides Captain Tsubasa. I highly doubt we'll see figures of this though. Just not much demand.

Maybe when the Saber Rider videogame is released, if it's good, there will be renewed interest in the cartoon. But I haven't seen much on the videogame in a while.
