That wait list order has been sitting in my account since July of 2005!!
I thought this thread was gonna say something like "Ian McKellan Dead" or "The Hobbit Movie permanently shelved" etc....

We have not had any items return back into stock from card declines or returns nor have we found any remaining items within our warehouse. Therefore, we will be CLOSING this wait list and canceling all collector reservations that have been submitted for this item. Once this is completed you will receive an e-mail confirming the cancellation. It will contain the information that appears below.

Looks like they are closing all the old SS/Weta lists...
You do realize that in 6 months, they will find one of these items and put in in an Express Update or in the Newsletter...

I also had my first waitlist cancellation in all the time I have been collecting Sideshow. It was not LOTR related...but it was devastating because it is like my 9th wait list item, but the first that I lost.
