Sandtrooper w/ Orange Pauldron

Joints aren't floppy, but they aren't stiff either. The chest armor, IMO, will need the 'ol boil and squeeze because it's too wide. Otherwise, I'm as pleased with this guy as I was with the other Sandtrooper and think they will look great together! I'm still debating getting the black-pauldroned Trooper. We'll see!

I plan to do a repaint and boil the chest plate when I get mine. Same as the last Sandtrooper.... At this point I've cancelled my Black Sandtrooper.... If I can get it for a super good price I will.

So he comes with two ammo pouches (one on each hip) and the shoulder one AND the small extra pouch?

I don't suppose the eyes have a green tint like the proto photo?

All in all, he looks like he kicks ass! Can't wait for mine.

Yes, to the pouches: a total of four. The eyes do have the same greenish tint that the Sergeant has.

What most folks did the first time was take some nail polish remover to the factory weathering. TBH it took me quite a bit of scrubbing to get the figure fairly clean but I think it was worth it. Here's some old pics I posted in the Sergeant thread:

I never could manage to get the weathering out of the grooves with just nail polish remover though, and after awhile I started removing some of the white paint undercoat so I stopped trying and got into my own weathering. Can't wait to do another

The figure looks great and I can't wait to receive mine on Monday. It sounds like aside from the boil-n-bend chestplate he's pretty ready to go right out of the box. Nice.
