Photos look good, glad to hear the joints are tighter! What about the backpack does it stay firmly on his back with those straps? Last time I had to use double tape to insure it won't fall...

I have had mine up overnight with no stand and no shelf diving...yet.

I can even stand mine straight up if I give him the rifle and have him hold it out just a little. But anyone who has spent any time in a back pack knows that there is always a little lean forward to move the center of balance over your feet.

The copy I got holds up pretty well...seemingly. It HAS only been over night.

Edit - Here is a shot of how he has been standing all night.

Edit 2 - I have had a few VERY minor problems. The armor came off of the right shooting sculpted hand and the joint in that wrist comes apart when it is rotated. And the bottom straps on the pack both had the loops holding the buckles on come unglued. All very simple fixes except the wrist joint. I want to order an extra hand fro TA when they part these guys out so that I can test weathering removal on it, so I'll just replace the peg with the one from whatever hand I buy.

I don't know if anyone can really tell. But I also molded the breastplate to the figure like so many have with the Storm/Sandtroopers. I use an industrial heat gun to heat the plastic as it is MUCH faster than boiling water. The heat gun is similar to a blowdryer, but much, much hotter as they are sometimes used to heat steel.

I told Sideshow to use Fedex exclusively for all of my orders. The driver signs for my stuff for me and locks it up in my spare car in front of my house. So I never miss the figures on the first delivery attempt.

He is getting a good Christmas bonus this year.

One thing I am doing with the heating/bending trick on my Sandies' breastplate....on all three I am gonna do it in such a way that it that all three will be slightly different....the white one will look super snug; Orange wont be as snug next to the midchest armor, and black just slightly more than that.

Idea: same armored was used regardless of body size of actors...trying to recreate that feel a bit

That is how I did to my Stormies, they now have a different looking chest armor. When I'll re-open and display the EX I'll show comparison pics.

LOL...I am so remote, that it would not be worth your time.

I don't even get mail delivery at my place. I had to hound the P.O. for 3 weeks to get my address on their database so that Sideshow could verify that my address really exists.

just checked my FedEx tracker.....my Sandie is in Sydney ATM and will be here in Newcastle tomorrow....not a bad turnaround considering it left the states on thursday!!!!!

I've been looking at the pics, and it seems to me that it's the White paldroon'd Sandie that has the small pack on his belt. Or does the smaller pack come with both? And are any Sandies that wear both the small and 2 of the larger ones?

i don't know but the helmet looks off.
