Nice pics , these two looks great.

Finally got time to open it up and it's great! The backpack is a pain and one of the straps keeps getting loose.

And I can't figure out what the heck to do with the small pouch!

I've been looking at the pics, and it seems to me that it's the White paldroon'd Sandie that has the small pack on his belt. Or does the smaller pack come with both? And are any Sandies that wear both the small and 2 of the larger ones?

The white sandie has the 2 larger packs on his belt. The orange gets the smaller 1 and 2 large i think.

Well, all 3 won't fit on the belt.

The smaller 1 sits on the hip and on the white their round by his back, so theres plenty of room.

In the piccie you can see the 2 larger ones on him and the smaller 1 on the floor :peace

So is it supposed to go on the back of the belt, kinda like the grenade thing the regular stormies have?

Thanks, Crimsonbob! I even checked the 360° view and didn't see that!

Some of the images have the big one and some have the small one. Looks like it's almost like an option as to which one you prefer, or to make variant troopers...

i made my own holsters out of leather based on the pattern of the regular stormie holster. i think they really add to the figure and i think i've seen screenshots of sandies with holsters.

Just got mine today. In terms of floppiness in the armored body seen previously with the Stormtroopers, this one is quite an improvement.

The figure I received can stand on its own. Weathering is also quite okay. I am glad they leave the weathering out of the backpack and weapons. At least, I can weather them to my own preference.

Can't wait to get this one when I see all those good comments :D

But I have a question to the guy's that have a sandtrooper. I always put my figures on the stands that come with the figure. But looking at the pictures it seems there is little room between the pack and the trooper to let the stand hold him. Is it possile to let the stand hold the trooper without the pack looking like it's pushed back by the stand?

Sorry for my bad English :angelsmil

Heres my quick and dirty pic, with the marmit helmet (only part of the marmit that is superior to the SS version)

This is the iconic pose to me, for the orange pauldron version....!

you can put the brace under the armor but it tends to push the chest piece out a bit. with mine i kinda just turned him a bit.
this is a reason why i wish sideshow would incorporate magnets in the feet & use a thin metal in the stand.

Looks great, Craw! I may have to do that myself! How did you do the grommets? And does the strap have a magnet, like Sideshow's?

Ok Thanks :D
I to wished Sideshow used another kind of brace to hold the figures. Some of my figures got marks of where the brace was holding them :monkey1

Nah, the calf armor on the Marmits are designed exactly after the ones seen in the OT but, SSC's are not and look bloated to boot.

Don't forget that codpiece on Sideshows as well, looks better suited for a female.

Yes, please share how you made them.
the grommets are just tiny magnets. and yes the strap is magnetic. i bought a 100 pack of tiny magnets awhile ago for my custom projects and find they have many uses. to make the holster i just bought a small piece of black leather from Hobby lobby for about $3. for the first one i kinda just measured Sideshow's holster from the regular ST as best i could. then i just cut and shaped until it looked good and made a snug fit around the blaster. i then traced this pattern onto paper so i could replicate these in the future. the straps i just cut out with leftover scraps. i just super glued everything together and added the magnets and voila. here's some WIP of the holster i'm making for the Black Pauldron trooper to get an idea.
