Sandtrooper w/ Orange Pauldron

I don't understand: what is the problem with the backpack straps exactly? Why is it so tricky to put on?

I ask because I'm getting this tonight and I'd like to avoid any hassle in advance.

I don't mean to be a Deak but I don't know what the big deal is, I had no problems.

Here's the holster pattern if anyone is interested:

The overall size should be approximately 2.25" wide X 2.375" high. Then you can cut three strap lengths, around 1/16th wide and the length is the same width as the overall holster (2.25"), two for the belt straps and one strap that holds the gun in place.

the problem with the straps is two fold:
1. the lightness of the back pack doesn't put enough weight on the straps/buckles to give a good bite to hold.
2. the buckles aren't at the right angle to get a good bite to the straps anyway.

the easy solution is to get the back pack where you want it & secure the strap. i wrapped a thin piece of black tape around the strap & under the shoulder armor.

I did something different: I used a double adhesive tape, but also made a knot on the remaining straps just above the backpack, and the knot itself is hidden by the pauldron and if I want it is easy to undo.

Not great pics, but here's mine for now...

Overall: great figure.

I didn't find the pack to be too much trouble after all the posts.

Figure is mostly tight. Still, he's fallen over twice already.

Just in case you guys didn't know -- I'm sure you do -- but that long rifle strap is adjustable.

I forgot how clanky all that armor is when trying to pose these guys. But again, overall, great figure, great paint apps (even like the dirt)... and I love the green eyes!

in re: to the backpack....i feed the straps through the bottom hole and then feed it through the top ho;e,much like a school bag,and then pull both straps back towards Sandies back.I then x them over and pull them tight together behind the neck piece and tie them up and then push the excess strap inbetween the back and the backpack.Put the helmet on the trooper and u cannot even tell where the straps are....sits nice and tight.

I forgot how clanky all that armor is when trying to pose these guys.

I use a strip of velcro (the fuzzy side only) in each piece.....works extremly well to keep clanky armor in its place

I know. It sucks that the best light in the house is by the pink chairs. Anyway, I have to live with them.... unless of course there is a horrible accident. Hmmmmm....
