For the avp predators I would avoid ebay. Theres people on there who don't even think about the money when there buying.

I got lucky 3 months back and snagged a loos Minto scar for $230, that was pretty much at Scar's peack when a mint one would go for around $650+.\

The only advice i can give is persistence, hopefully a pretty cool board member will want to sell one and hook you up, you never know just always have around $250 dollars on you, because the first day you don't will be the day you see a very good deal. trust me!

There is always someone crazy enough to pay those prices, so if they can get it, more power to them. I can't afford it even though I'd love to have the older preds.

and for that, I'm eternally greatful I paid around $300 for my first Scar a couple months ago and it was loose. MIB Scar's were around the low $400's then, $550 is just crazy now $500+ were the prices normally reserved for Ancient Preds, Im scared to see how much those are gonna start to go for

I got my Scar loose w/ box about 8 months back for $250. No regrets here. Only problem is the seller listed it as only displayed but it seems pretty loose. Now I only have my Cleaner and Lost it to compare it to but did anyone else have this problem with their Scar? The legs and arms are floppy.

some of my predators shins keep popping out of place for no reason. these figures just sit on shelf. come dusting time i pick them up and they seam to get taller. i then have to snap the shins back in to place.

They're leeching us for what they can, as is the way in the asian market place. I don't think there is a single HK seller on ebay that isn't taking advantage of this situation.

Of those, there are a couple of HK sellers who start their listings at .99 cents, or offer a low BIN price which is great. That gives the bidder a chance of a good deal, however they jack up the price of postage! Then there are the sellers who have multiple listings of the same figure but have a different shipping total for each one

Ebay needs to crack down on are these scalpers/postage-pirates, which more than likely wont ever happen.

sounds like they're an ebay cash cow. ebay can keep jacking up the listing fees and the hk sellers just pass that along to customers.

yup, simple supply and demand. It wasn't too long ago that I thought the Wolf Pred was way too expensive and was thinking to myself how I'd never spend over $150 on one of these things, then realized I'd have to pony up $300+ if I ever wanted to own AvP Preds.

I'm not surprised they're hitting the $500+ mark, I just didn't expect it to be so soon. Pretty soon, someone might actually pay the $800+ some HK sellers are asking

The AVP preds are getting more and more scarce and rare. And the predator hype doesn't look like it will die down anytime soon with P1 on the way. I think prices might actually go up. Saw a assembled then disassembled Asia Ancient go for $616 on the bay the other day. Glad I got my collection finished before it got way too out of hand.

cheapest i could get any of the preds that i thought were cool was the AVP elder i got for 299 free shipping on ebay. I want an elder from p2 and a chopper but i refuse to pay more than 300 for either. so im gonna settle for what i got plus the p1 exclusive and be happy. plus im saving for cinemaquette anyway. :chew
