Out of curiousity, how would the "missed Exclusive pick-ups" work on Sunday at SDCC? The FAQ states that any items that are not picked up by 1:00 on Sunday would be offered to others or converted to waitlisters.
Can any random con attendee (even if they don't have an SS account) walk up and pay to pick up the missed exclusives on a first come, first serve basis? If so, I won't be there on Sunday. Maybe someone else I know could pick one up if any are left? Would this work, or is it account-holder only? Also, do you pay on the spot or what?

Thanks!

If any item designated as Attendee and brought to the show for a specific person to pick up is NOT picked up by the person who ordered it (before the cut-off time on Sunday), it is offered to walk-ups at the store. I do not believe you need to be a prior Sideshow account holder to participate. They accept cash/credit card at the booth - pay on the spot. Line will begin forming at the designated time (there will be a sign at the store, or you can ask anyone working at the store about it.) If any amount of the Attendee allotment remains after that, then they are offered to wait list members.

Items released due to cancellations and credit card declines during processing (prior to the show and continuing until all orders are processed/extra inventory counted) are offered to Wait List members on a first come, first served basis.

Hope that helps answer your questions :duff

Man, I foresee a lot of people standing in line for the Guardian Predator.

Be prepared for a lot of angry, whiney customers :lol

Dusty,

I would highly recommend saving any leftover Guardian Predators for people on the WL; there won't be that many of them not picked up, so it won't be a pain to bring them back to the warehouse or office.

I will be at the Con on Sunday, but I know the "line will begin forming" is a mess because people just kind of roam around the area where the line forms until the time and then just push and shove to get in front of each other.

You guys could also do what Lego does and give out raffle tickets for the opportunity to buy the Guardian maybe to the first 50 people in line or so. This works really well to avoid the pushing and cutting that occurs when you just do a line forming.

Just some ideas that would help make it far more fair and less of a cluster.

Yeah, I'd be okay with saving those Guardians for the WL too. It seems more fair, especially since we heard SS would only bring 90-100 Preds to the con (which isn't the way things are usually done). It's a weird situation for sure, but waitlisting those for actual SS members who tried to order seems fairer.

On the likely chance that what Kibishii and I asked for will not happen, does the line on Sunday form at 1:00? Or can people start buying at 1:00 (in which case the line would likely form close to an hour earlier)?

It's supposedly 500. But I heard it was 500 per distributor, which doesn't seem to be what SS got. Anyway, I'm just looking for ways to get it, since I missed it both days and I am attending SDCC.

Yikes, glad I'm not after that one. What's with the super low edition size?

You don't want to know... its a veritable "the end is nigh" feeling over in the Guardian Predator's thread :lol

I feel bad for the SS employees stuck dealing with crabby-pants Predator fans on the last day :monkey1

Eh, I'll probably cancel my WL for Guardian and focus on the new Preds coming out.
