SDCC New Preorders

For those of you not attending:

new pre-orders daily from Wednesday, July 19th through Sunday, July 23rd!

So pay attention to the site. They have confirmed that new preorders will be put up every day of SDCC. Don't go too far from your computer! Some of you newcomers who have been spoiled by all of the priority preorders scheduled in advance are about to get a taste of the good old days--preorders for new items going up with no notice. It's going to be fun for you guys!

Here's a tip--open up a window and log into the official chat room at Sideshow's site. Leave that window open throughout the event. Chris will very likely give you chatters a heads up when he is about to put a new item up for preorder, and will often drop the link into chat.

I know that a lot of new folks have joined up lately and this will be their first big online event. Hope you have fun! I will wave at you on the webcam.

Reading that reminded me of the scene from Alien where Ash was in the observation deck waving to the crew as they left the ship. That's me, stuck in the observation deck. Of course instead of a facehugger stuck to your face when you come back, Tom, I'll expect Fett stuffed underneath your shirt.

I'm not too worried about missing anything since I'll be glued to my computer.

Thanks, Tom. Good advice there as well. Luckily I will be home during the day and at work at overnight for the duration of the SDCC. Hopefully that will allow me to not miss a darn thing!

I'm very excited! (I think the SSC Chat will work on my computer here at work. It's ifft because I don't have administrative rights.)

By the way... anyone familiar with the graphic novels "Death's Whisper" by Tim Erickson?

They will go up each day during the event. The show opens opens each day at like 9am PST and closes each day at 7pm except Sunday which is closes at 5pm.

This is going to suck! It's my Mom's birthday and I'll be gone at least one of those days. Not to mention I'll be at the movies almost all day Friday (Clerks 2! and The Lady in the Water). Hmm, this could suck. I hope they don't have any great exclusives that sell out in 30 minutes. Bring on a lot of Inclusives, please.
