Great news, my only concern besides the pop out arm is I really hope they corrected some of the paint apps issues, really don't want to be reading another repaint thread. Other than that, awesome news, thanks pt!

Heh! Congrats. Wonder when the first EU collectors will get this mail. Can't wait, since I have quiet a few SDCC exclusives on order: Vader, Freddy and the security guard. Which reminds me: I must contact someone for combined shipping...

I agree PJam. If they at least have the paint issues solved I will be one happy camper! :D

Yep, got my notice as well. I see that it may take up to two weeks from the moment your cc is processed until it gets shipped.

I'm sure they will have fixed the "plum-rose" lipstick issue, which was pretty much the only major "paint" problem to come up. I'm not sure about the loose arm issue, though. They may not have had enough time to tackle that one yet.

Yee-Haw...with my Kit Fisto arriving over the next day or two, this is AWESOME news too!

:chew :chew :chew :chew :chew

Just got my notice too. That's cool, but it does say that it might be two weeks between the time it charges to when it ships to you because of how many they are shipping. Which makes me wonder if it's more than 6,000 figures....

Makes me happy:monkey5

Got mine - but I'm still waiting on frikkin' Kit - two weeks after the initial 3-5 day email. No response from SSC customer service emailed yesterday either - guess they're all busy with SDCC cos they're usually really quick to respond.

Got my notice! Kit tomorrow and Sith Ani (hopefully) before the month is out. Man, Sideshow is making me a poor but happy collector this year... Angel, Star Wars, LOTR... I'm a happy geek.

got my notice. I hope sideshow makes more figures with special bases like this one or sell different bases separately, because I think it makes the figure look even better.

I agree. Having every figure with the same base makes things look a little too static (Especially since most of these figures follow the same dress code). Themed bases add alot to the collection.

They caught the paint errors in enough time to correct them, so SDCC Vader will look like the protos.........................this has been confirmed!

If they ever make regular Star Wars bases available for sale I will buy a bunch and replace all of the fancy themed bases. I am picky and I either want every base to be plain or every base to be themed. Having 5 or 6 plain bases and 1 or 2 themed ones would throw off the look for me. They need to match!

I think that all they did was Photoshop them out, since that always seems to please everybody around here!
