Just to advise in here... I am selling off a chunk of my collection... about a dozen Indy character customs in various stages of completion.. plus will be adding a slew of parts over the next two days.. (to include the clothing from the ROTLA PF with a recolored / weathered jacket)...
I know this is not the sale area, but did want to advise my fellow Indy collectors in here in case some of you dont visit the sale section often... the collection is just getting to be a bit overwhelming... seriously scaling down.. I have sooooo many projects in storage that I could quit work for a year and never finish it all !! Working full time and doing the single parent thing has simply cut out any time for personal projects.. any more the only time I sit at my work bench is to fill orders for custom gear...

I'll be watching this thread with great interest Mike. Hoping one of your custom 1/4 side satchels is part of the lot. Could also always use some more 1/6 pieces too! :hi5:

Hey Fett... all of the items were listed in the sale section of the site.. As of now looks like my Vogel, Dietrich, German disguise Indy and Satipo head may be sold already

Was seriously on the fence regarding selling the custom TOD Indy.... But after adding up the cost of parts, all my custom gear... Head has real hair etc.. I couldn't reasonably sell it for under $450. And I just don't see anyone dropping that kind of bread on one figure

Nice work as always, Mike!

I don't suppose you'd remember the sources of the parts for your KOTCS Russian soldier in US uniform disguise? I was thinking of putting together a Dovchenko...

Thanks!

Wow! Some serious $$$....can't blame you for asking that though. :)

Yeah Jeff.. when you consider that the leather gear and whip would cost you $125... muscle body @ $80.. Newline boots @ $20... HT pants and shirt cost around $40 on the secondary.. the head was totally stripped with acetone and hand painted after adding real hair.. (which considering a lot of guys are getting in the neighborhood of 75-100 just for painting heads).. then the hard to find Did webbelt @ around $10.. you have around $375 just in the parts alone... then there was all the work in just building it up and weathering all of that as well.... once you dump that much effort into a custom, reasonably selling them becomes somewhat of a loss.... guess it depends on how I feel later... kinda lost a lot of interest in the hobby this year what with everything going on....

@ Chibischmoo... the Russian has a hard as heck to find DML uniform from the Col. Moore figure.. web belt is Toy Soldier I believe.. the correct H harness webbing is from an old BBi release.. pouches are common.. boots are Did brand boots dyed black... cap is a custom piece I cobbled from a WW2 german mtn troop hat... unit insignia I made on the computer..

Thanks, Mike! No wonder I haven't managed to stumble across the uniform! Now I know what to look for.

Chibischmoo... there was a second figure with the same unifrom.. was some kind of radio operator from the samefilm... "We Were Soldiers Once"... but can't remember the name..
