Should Hot Toys do some Gremlins figures?

I'm a big fan of the original Gremlins movie. I would love to see Hot Toys do some 12" figures; Gremlin Stripe, Mogwai Stripe, Gizmo and maybe another generic Gremlin.

These would be dream figures of mine, there is allot of gremlins merchandise out there (especially Jun Planning) but i think HT can do it right all the way.

What do you think?

I'm not really into big collectibles, but i wouldn't say no to a Stripe PF. Although i rather have HT do some 12"-14" figs.

I think this is a great idea. I would love hot toys to do a 1:1 Scale figure of Gremlins especially Gizmo. I have been wanting one for the longest time. The neca versions are ok but the best I have seen is in this youtube video by an unknown company. I think its from Japan. Many people including myself have asked about where he got the figure, what company made it etc. But he never replies.

That's one realistic Gizmo! However i prefer the design of the original Gizmo.

How big would they be? As big as the ones JUN Planning offers (19 Inches)? Or like 12" figures!? Plush or sculpted?

I could see like SS doing 19" figures but I doubt HT would want to do highly detailed, sculpted and painted Gremlins in that size. Mainly due to pricing. Maybe out of scale 12" figures though. Those would look cool. I think I still have the original plush of Stripe somewhere.

You should change the poll.. because even though I wouldn't buy them (no interest) I still think it's a cool idea. 8-\

12" would be big enough for me, for the mogwais and Stripe's mohawk a mixture of sculpt and fur like the HT Planet of the Apes figures (not plush!)

i would definitely like a 1:1 gizmo! i loved the lil guy when i was a kid, and still have a soft spot for him.

i saw a gizmo by jun planning in a store some time ago. was tempted to get it but wasn't too impressed with the finishing work on the fur, so i passed. plus, it wasn't 1:1, prob 1:2 or somethin...

If Hot Toys could do a 1:1 prop-replica of Gizmo, I think it would be pretty sweet. I'm not sure 1/6 versions would work w/o human supporting cast and I don't think I'd buy more than Billy. Maybe Kate or the dad depending on which creatures would come with who.

I would be in for a Billy, Gizmo and Stripe 3-pack. But that would be the extent of human characters.

Honestly not something I could see HT doing, but I'd still be stoked if they did.
