I did. Heavy stuff, but extremely well done. Isaac was great, while Bernthal was almost unrecognisable!

Definitely. It was refreshing to see him in a role that was a little more...intellectual? I think sometimes it seems like his talent is overlooked because he's often pidgeonholed into those tough guy roles. It's got a tremendous cast. I could go on about Alfred Molina, Bob Balaban, Jim Belushi, and anybody else, but the truth is that I think everybody in this thing has been great, so far.

As for the show, itself, it's remarkable that the kind of thinking on display in the show is still so prevalent. Once again, Simon taps into the culture, at large, and makes us take a long look in the mirror. The class warfare, the racism; it's so primal, and you almost forget that this is stuff that actually happened. The worst part is that it still does.

I'll watch anything David Simon does by default. It was a great series, I didn't know the history and didn't expect the ending at all.
