Sideshow 1:1 Endobust CHROME and COMBAT Observation

For those of you that have BOTH the CHROME and COMBAT Sideshow 1:1 ENDOBUSTS. Here is what I noticed about my pair. My CHROME Busts Eyes are a tad brighter than my COMBAT Endobusts eyes. Anyone else's like that? It's no biggie it's just something I happen noticed and BOTH have FRESH BATTERIES so I know it has nothing to do with that. I will tell you one thing my CHROME versions eyes are almost TOO BRIGHT. If you watch the movie you will notice SIDESHOW made the eyes on these guys too bright compared to the Endos in the movie. I think my COMBATS eyes are more screen accurate than my CHROMES eyes. Just an observation. I still totally dig them both. Anyway , Thanks in advance. Mike

I really hadn't paid attention to that.

But you can see in the pic below that the eyes of clean endo (2nd bust) are brighter than the combat!

must be a thicker red lens for the combat version maybe ?

I notice that my combat looks "meaner" if that makes sense. I am also not sure if the Combat is looking slightly more down that the chrome. This might be individual from model to model. I also noticed that my chromes eyes are slightly brighter than the combat, though I would never had recognized this if you had not brought it up. I stood face to face my combat and than in front of the chrome and I had to turn away as the chrome's eyes was too bright.

I think I see a slight difference in yours too now that I am taking a closer look. Especially in the last DARK pic... The left eyes are slightly dimmer than the right busts. Maybe I am just seeing things but the glow is slightly less in your COMBATS eyes. Mike

hmmm. Like I said, I think it is slight if at all. I will try and get a better camera to take a few more pics for you this weekend. I definitely did not notice a variance like in Felmar's pics but, I think there is something slight.

I remember someone in the Endo skull roll call thread saying that you can replace one of the batteries with a blank/dummy battery to reduce the voltage, by effect dimming the eyes. I need to track one down & try it.

I think your taking it a little far man. The eyes are the same brightness, we are just magnifying the inconsistencies by a million.

Guys I'm pretty sure you don't even know your wives'/girlfriends' eye colors but you know everything about these bust's eyes
