It certainly is a possibility that HT will produce their own version of these varmints, it doesn't make me appreciate these SSC ones any less (floppy bodies and all)...I just hope they look distinctive enough that it will enhance a display of the ones I already have here....

And look this good in that eventual desert shoot. ..

The only mods I did was to add some gaffer's tape to the tall one...The legs and waist...to keep it from simply flopping over.

I am really happy with the way they look out in the rocks....pretty cool.

Great photo! Really looks like the real thing!

If only the bodies would have been better I would have totally gotten a set.

Walked into forbidden planet today and caved.
Probably paid too much for the set but "late to the party" impressions..
Bodies are just stupid, fixable but not acceptable at this price point.
Everything else is stellar. Really impressed, honestly HT won't outdo these.
The pleather work for example is something we used to get from HT but no more.
These are really really great Jawas. Need a lot of futzing and some weathering, which I'm looking forward to.
But the paint work, the stitching, fabric layers.. Superb IMO.

Completely agree, aside from the bodies these are great. All the pleather stuff, holster, belts etc is superb. I think HT will probably do the cloaks better but to get the perfect jawas you'll have to mix and match these with whatever HT eventually do.

HT can still do some wonderful pleather items - look at Rey's scavenger rucksack. But then that awful plastic belt she's wearing around her waist is sub-Hasbro (I was actually thinking of replacing it with a jawa belt).

If so you will probably wait years for them... And if they do, well, you can't have too many (different looking) jawas. And the SSC jawas look pretty great on display as well.

Just received mine. My bodies are not nearly as bad as some others who have them. They can hold most poses just fine. Got the tall one holding his gun, one leg bent and bowing his body forward. Stays solid.

Congrats on getting the set, CrovaxNL...amd that's great news about the bodies on your set. makes me wonder if the loose ones were early in the run and it got corrected or...if it really is hit-n-miss. I really like this set...I'd get anoher if there was a way of knowing the bodies did get better...
