1/6 Sideshow 1/6th Scale Star Wars Speeder Bike

Got that email with the "sample shots" link....I think it's looking pretty good. The stand looks extremely sturdy.

The bike looks like they're lavished the same fine attention to detail that the Probe Droid features. Won't be surprised if it's constructed the same too...a lightweight plastic with high detail. Assuming they'll one-up the bike on sturdiness though, considering it has to support a rider.

Like what I'm seeing so far...appreciate the early look, Sideshow!

I think many of us will be nervous when opening this, hoping not to find another ssc QC problem. Fingers crossed!

It's looking promising AtM .... The base hugger was a great last minute option also

Does anybody else think the bike looks a little too small compared to the Scout in this picture?

This is how the scout was sized compared to the bike on the PF awhile back. Will need more pics to compare on the 1/6 set, taken from similar angles.

Weird angle and crop.

Side note: Do they have to slap the Disney logo on everything now? Didn't happen with Marvel but Disney seems to be sticking it everywhere they can with Star Wars.

It looks like he is over the handle bars too much. Looking at how the elbows tuck back to the torso.

Yeah it looks like they have leaned him to much forward. Dont think its because it to small.

Sure hope so! Proportions on the PF look perfect. Would be unbelievably disappointing if they tried to cut corners and save on materials for the bike.

It's a funky angle with the front "steering vanes" cut off by the framing, but I think it probably looks okay. If anything their 1/6 Scout is a touch bulky, just like the Snowtrooper and (it seems) their bodies in general. I could be wrong, but their snowtrooper was a little wide both in terms of the body and certain costume details.

So long as the scale is 99% there I'll get this to complete my 1/6 OT set. But yeah...what a colossal missed opportunity if it does turn out wrong.

Me too. The Scout has always been my favorite Imperial trooper. I need the bike and Scout to come out right.

Me three second favorite would be sandtrooper on dewback. Shame the snowtroopers never got a special vehicle/creature otherwise that would be a nice display with all 3 togheter.

I agree the Scout Troopers have a cool look to them with their armor and helmets. Probably my favorite with the original Storm Troopers close behind.
