Are you sure you can get both the bundle discount and use the LUCKYMARCH code on the same order? doesn't seem to work for me - which makes sense because in general you cannot combine discounts, right?

I wasn't willing to spend a NRD to test it, but I added the code and I believe it had the bundle there too, may of cancelled it if I hit the button

Another shot of the studio scale Scout on Speederbike (and more):

Finally decided to go on the wait list for the exclusive... could actually hear my heart pounding when I think about the shipment cost.:monkey4

Was gonna pass but I have the Scout Trooper on pre-order now...because I had a substantial store credit for a cancelled order sitting around so figured, hell with it -- because I don't want any other 1/6 stuff, especially not from other properties.

I'll inspect the figure in-hand. If I love it, I'll body swap it because I hate the SSC stock bodies. If I don't love it, to Ebay it goes.

Now I know I've seen some amazing Hasbro speeder bike repaints. SSC's will obviously have better detailing, but is there a general consensus regarding the overall proportions and build of the Hasbro?

I like the price much better and I can easily paint weathered mechanical things (head sculpts are beyond my skill set). I'm sure this has been discussed before but I don't have time to delve. Mea culpa.

Since we will be moving much sooner then we had thought my mancave is on track again. Should be sometime this summer:)

Ive settled for this as my cabinet : NORNÄS Glass-door cabinet with 2 doors - - IKEA. Will paint it White to match the rest of the room. The speeder bike/scout will be the first additions to it.

There is simply no way this

Can be posed to look like this

Same problem with the 6" black series speeder bike and scout: bike is way too small. No angle or posing problems, the speeder handles are so tiny they can't be held properly. Just look at the knee angles, the leg is much crunched on SS scout than on the fx model.

What a let down :( I this is my favourite vehicle from the saga and my favourite set to date. For 350 € I can live with a regular paintjob, but scale problems simply can't be corrected so this is a no buy.

Great point about the scale; I wouldn't have caught. Can it be remedied by a body swap?

Either the speeder needs to be around 15% bigger in all dimensions or the biker a 15% smaller.

A body swap would remedy the figure height but all plastic parts (helmet, armor, hands) would make it look like a child in adult size clothes.

I suppose no one noticed that in those two reference pictures the foot pads are in completely different positions?

Hot Toys and Sideshow are notorious for screwing up scale, so I'm not saying there aren't issues - just that those two images don't make the best comparison. When it's in the hands of a collector with the patience to futz, I have no doubts that the trooper can be posed on the bike a lot better than that image above.

Yes we did.

Did you check the biker's knee position on relation to the bike on the original model and the SS toy? The knee protector is hihg above, next to the air intake on the toy. on the model it's way below, were the engine is.

What a missed opportunity.

I was at the show and even though it's just my personal opinion this was the best looking piece there from the figure to the bike and the base. Looked amazing and in scale to me and the base looked great with the tilted Speeder

Hi jkno, its Sergio from the fb chat days ago. The bike is absolutely small compared to the biker, what a sad surprise

I posted a picture of the fx Model, but the full size bike had the same proportion to the biker. I DONT get why Sideshow did the vehicle that small-
