Im not sure what a museum pose is limited to, but something semi-dynamic like Doc's pic ^ would be a median. For Spidey just to be standing there would be boring and outta character imo. I hope its full dynamic, but then again I missed the last two PFs.

Marvels stuff has been coming out with dynamic poses. Think this will be atleast semi dynamic.

I'd like classic Red and Blue (no webs) with the EX being swap-out parts of the symbiote taking over. Otherwise I'd just like an Amazing Spider-Man 2 figure. I think the suit would look great with the Premium Format treatment. Unless they had to make it PVC because of the material. :monkey3

Well anytime now. I passed on the Jscott version. Hopefully this will be Amazing

Hmmmmm...

I, for one, really enjoyed ASM2 and think the costume was fantastic. Wouldn't argue with a PF of it. At the same time though, can't argue with that great comic book look either.

I thought both movies were garbage but the costume was perfect, so it wouldn't have mattered to me that it came from a crap movie, I wanted a Spiderman with that ASM2 suit. I also think if another Spiderman was done with fabric, we wouldn't have to deal with sloppy black lines.....again.

Yea I was hoping the new PF would've been mixed media to avoid the inevitable weird sculpting lines and bad black paint. After seeing the Man of Steel suit, I thought for sure SS would be going that route.

I'd personally want all sculpt for the reason that it will look like a hard doll. Issue is Spidey is all covered. But then again Supes and Bats are about 90% covered, but I think its the cape and bases that make those two stand out regardless of MM.

They were going for full cut and sew on the ASM PF, and it would have been way too difficult to do with a pose like the one on the new PF. This is what Igo said on Statue Forum a while back about the pose for the ASM PF:

Igo said:
It's definitely a moment feeling pose that isnt hard-core museum. It has some drama to it without being in your face.

The new PF has a crazy action pose, so it doesn't sound like they are the same sculpt.

Yeah. I think all of the marvel pieces are getting that "first second they are leaping into battle pose"
