I'm looking for a body to complete a bash in progress. The head I have fits Sideshow and Dragon bodies. Sideshow's seem taller and have realistic hands so that seems the better choice for this specific bash. However, how do you go about taking a head off? All the nudes on eBay are Han Solos and I wanna rip that head off without damaging the neck joint. Does it rip off or do I need to heat it? I'm not gonna dare tamper with any of my Bonds or PotA to find out.

Stick the head in the boiling water for about 30 seconds and pulling it off should be no problem.

Cool. I'm a pro at the boil and pop for smaller scale things. Thanks for your help.

Boil n pop is good... but lets not forget the blow n tug method works very well too :monkey3

2 easy methods:

1. Boil water in a cup for about 2min then dip the head and neck into the water for about a minute and it will pop right off.

2. Blow dry the neck area for a minute or 2 and the head will be somewhat easy to tug off.

I prefer the boil method, because it seems less strenuous and requires little to any force to pop the head off.

Just did this a couple of minutes ago with my DW Freddy, used the hairblower method. Worked with some force, although I would recommend using the backside of a butterknife and sticking it between the head and neckpeg to push the peg down into the body while you're pulling on the head.

If you don't use the dryer right there the heating may not be even which means there are some parts soft enough to pop off and others which are still hard. You try to pull it off and it snaps the neck.

Yikes! I had no idea the Pro neck was that weak! I've changed out Indy's head a few times and luckily it came off fairly easily without needing any kind of heating. But I'm definitely going to be more careful next time!

Oops! I see that now! I don't think I've tried to behead any Bucks yet, but I'll heed the warnings if the time ever comes!
