Sideshow bio helms

I have a chance to trade a couple of sw items for a berseker bio helm and a scar bio helm from sideshow. Are the sideshow bio helms good quailty? Accurate? What does the board here think of them?

You should deffo go for Berserker, I've heard good things about his bio. On the other hand I've heard some bad points about Scars, the crappy plastic visor being the main issue.

Do it, you can't go wrong with 1:1 scale, berzerker bio is the shiznit, the scar bio looks warped but it comes from the movie molds so you can't go wrong with that, the only issue with the scar bio is the paper lens....,

the only Bios worth the money is the Wolf and Berserker imo

I like everyone that I own. to be honest I was a hater at first but that was before I owned any of them. it's easy to talk shat when all you've seen are pics. I'd say if you're interested in picking some up...do it...

SS Scar Bio has the worst lens I've ever. It's literally mesh that is printed on! Not worth the money at all. But I've heard that the Mr Black Bio is off the hook. I think I'm gonna pick that up one day for sure.

The Mr. Black Bio is awesome. I don't have Scar, but I hear it's better than Celtic's (which I have and love, minus the lenses..).

Yea the entire AVP line of 1:1 Bios have just terrible lenses. Scar has printed on mesh on what feels like paper lenses. Celtic and Chopper lenses are just silver paint which isn't all that reflective or glossy. A real fail from SS which makes no sense because Wolf Bio was just....WOW!

^ Yeah, there's actually some spots on my Celtic Bio that aren't painted, or just weren't painted correctly.
Parts you can't see without looking for them, though.

Do the lens mod. I think there should be videos on youtube with detailed instruction on how to make them look just like the movie. And it's pretty easy to do. I remember that the vids were done by Dan from Hunter's Lair?

Spray paint is reeeaaally cheap. Just hop by a local Home Depot.
