I think it would be cool if one of the exclusives was a Han in Carbonite.

Hasbro made one, but I know Sideshow could improve it. Can't have enough stuff for Jabba. :lol

I don't think it'd be that difficult to do either.

If they do give us a 1/6 scale, I hope he's able to hang on a wall. That would be awesome!!!

I think it would make a cool exclusive because it wouldn't be a repainted figure like last year's SDCC Anakin and it would be the type of figure that everyone wouldn't want, so a limited number of them would be a perfect fit.

If I had my way it'd be a McQuarrie Concept Designed Vader with the McQuarrie Concept Design Luke at SDCC but Han in Carbonite would be cool too...

Oh man. Just imagine how cool those would be. :drool

People would be ticked if the ES wasn't high enough for them to get one. Not to mention I'd rather them get a regular Vader done first before a concept one. Though I'd take that one as well..

Carbonite Han is a bad idea for a convention exclusive unless the ES is high. You'll have a lot of potentially ticked off Jabba owners out there if they can't get a Han to go with their display.

I would guess that any exclusives for this line should be relatively easy to get. Sideshow did a nice job of pre-ordering the SDCC exclusives for the last couple of years, and the SDCC Anakin seemed to hit the right number, so that those who wanted one could get one.

I think it's going to be the exclusive rancor keeper...

So long as we get a rancor to go with him. Or at least a couple legs to pose with Luke and his bone. :lol

After listening to last weeks podcast, you know the rancor is going to happen. :D .... eventually...:monkey1

I haven't listened to it. What exactly was said on the subject?

They remarked (by accident they say) that the Star Wars line would see even bigger creatures than Jabba.

It does make you wonder why they gave us a rancor bone with Luke unless he plans on using it on Jabba. I'm up for a rancor.

Or one of these guys with a couple sandtroopers.

What I got out of the podcast was that the Dioramas, not the 1:6 line, would have big creatures like the the Rancor. Either way, I'd say a SSC Rancor is coming in one line or another

Seriously, that one podcast has completely confused the discussion of the 12" and Diorama lines.

Now, the official diorama announcement said: "The designs for the Star Wars 'Versus' dioramas were drawn from the most dynamic and dramatic confrontations in the films, and the environments will seek to capture some of the Star Wars Saga's vast landscapes, immense creatures and varied locations - but in a reasonable size that collectors can display on a desktop or hang on a wall. The size and scale will vary, but most of the 'Versus' dioramas will be in approximately 1:9 scale. The Star Wars 'Versus' environments will vary greatly in size and scale."

I listened to the podcast only once, but don't remember hearing anything more revealing than this. That is, unless the talk turned to the 12" figures somehow... my mind must've blacked that out.

I wonder when the announcement will be for these exclusives... the event is a scant three months away. The SDCC exclusives are revealed within a three month time frame so it should be soon, right?

I'd say probably starting this Thursday.

That's my guess/expectation as well.

Also, I got off the phone with someone at Lucasfilm today. They're all pretty stressed and behind the gun when it comes to CIV preparation (in a good way, don't worry), so I expect them to make sure the licensees (SSC included) get on the ball with their stuff planend for the Con.

Shouldn't be long before we know more details.
