Is Han using product in in his 'hair' ? It's an improvement over the scruffy mess that Sideshow left him with.

I don't think a comb will run through the fur. I just pulled ALL the fur out from under the hood (there's a lot that gets smushed under there) and teased it until he had a perfect afro. Then I pushed it all to the back and locked it down with some hair gel. Not perfect, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how your mod turns out, but a big improvement over how it came out of the box. Glad you like!

Somebody said something about replacing the cheap fur with real rabbit fur but I don't see how you could do that without tearing out the fur and sewing on the rabbit fur and my sewing skills aren't exactly Emily Post.

Well the new fur would fluff out so much that I wouldn't think you'd have to be too precise about how you sewed it in. At least judging from the fur the jacket comes with.

I definitely prefer the brown coat so far and Luke over Han. That said, I was optimistic at best on Luke. Then I received him and I think he turned out better then thought. I hope Han will to with this being my favorite look from the trilogy.

The first pic was taken with my cell phone at my work desk. The second was taken with an actual camera with both continuous lighting and flash, and a bit of post-processing to heighten contrast.

Probably the first pic is a better color match to in-hand under normal lighting. Which is closer to how it will look in a Detolf lol!

It is your choice of colors. But I'm happy with the brown, there's just something that gives the figure a unique look IMO





As for the goggles I like it..Imo it gives the eyes more depth seeing them through the goggles

Had a chance to buy the brown coat version for €180. Was a good price but i couldn't get past the eyes. One had good eyes but had a paintchip on the nose. So i had to pass. The two versions looked different. Even the paintjobs. Sideshow needs to be more consistant. A third version i came accross had very big eyes and looked horrible. When the eyes are right the figure looks pretty good in person, but it did came across as a little toylike.

Thanks guyver1. The last picture is my favorite! Based on these results, I may be looking to buy back my Bespin Han outfit from back in the day.

I'm thinking a variation of the HT Bespin Luke standing next to Bespin Han may be what my shelf ends up getting

I have been looking for a suitable body as the TTL I am using is for a sculpt with a neck. Based on your pics, I went ahead and ordered a Hoth Luke body from TA.

Did you check out the amazing custom someone did with just using the HT slim on the Hoth Luke. It's on the Luke thread. I swearin some pics it looks like a miniture Mark Hamill in Hoth gear

Looks very good, but the eyes still seem a bit off to me. I think it's the eyebrows, which look too perfect and "drawn on". A bit of paint should fix that.
