And not that it should be a surprise, but Han looks just fine if you remove the extra layers (inner jacket and shirt) and his poseability increases a bit. So pretty much a win-win :duff

Wow! The new jacket is a HUGE improvement with the zipper removed! :clap

Helps not having to compete for the extra uniform on TA too. Haha
I think I'm going to follow this idea.

Luke is on the Pro 1.0, so with that the height between the two looks good:

Bespin Han and HT Luke:

great heighth now between the two!

height... heigth... sorry if I say it wrong :rotfl

My Han arrived yesterday (at my mom's house, picking it up tomorrow) and the Hoth Luke body I ordered should be here today. Can't wait to do my own Bespin Han! It's almost like getting two new figures :)

Okay, a final picture (for now). I put the old jacket back on, but then this morning tried out the new. I still wish the new jacket were had a better fit, but overall it does look much better and you can kind of hide the short sleeves.

Not really... the Han head looks pretty large compared to the HT. I think the HT is very proportionate for the body they chose and Han is good on a larger body. But right next to one another they look a tad off. At some point I'll do a pic with the new Sideshow head on the DX07, I think that will look great with this Han sculpt.

I made sure to pull out the fur as much as I could... it gets tucked in a bit when you put it over the helmet. I'm actually good with the fur as-is. I might trim some of the straggly bits, but overall looks good to my eye.

I retract my earlier statement about the original Sideshow Besping Jacket, this new one is much nicer. Here's a comparison of the two jackets and shirts. New on top, old on the bottom.

So, with out any delay I removed the zipper... just ran an exacto knife along the stitched edge of the jacket; took all of 2 minutes. I removed a few stray threads between the body swaps... so be mindful of that.

And here's Han using a regular HT body... specifically a Barnes Platoon body and TFA Captain America Neck joint. I thought I'd prefer this, but at least with the new jacket and shirt he does really fill it out.

The Banner body looks better with the new stuff, but the fit is still a bit odd. I think better than the old Jacket and shirt, but not perfect. I think the biggest issue is the sleeves are a touch too short... if they were as long as the old Bespin Jacket it'd be perfect, but the shorter length and wider sleeve is messing stuff up.

And just for ease of comparison... Banner body, old outfit:

Nice Pics, MonkeyBoy.

SS Han sculpt outshines HT Han sculpt.

Looks really good, GB. Too bad the sleeves are a tad short and wide. But even with the old jacket, the new head and body really make a huge difference!

This is a really impressive head.

Are we here already? That was quicker than expected. ;)

I don't have any idea what I'm going to do with the extra head other than possibly swapping it out every now and then in the display - and even that may not happen many times.

In a way , we are getting almost two figures out of this, I'm very happy with what I've seen so far. Mine is out for delivery today.

Even the expression is very much ESB Han. This is a really impressive head.

That's very true... the eyes tend to photograph as a bit dead, but in hand have a lot of sparkle. And the slightly grumpy look of the sculpt really works well. I need to get out the finger hand and see how it works with that :lol

I was looking a number of images from ESB... and I think the length of the jacket body is pretty much spot on, and more than the sleeves being too short... they're just a bit too baggy. I'm wondering how hard it would be to resew them to be a tighter fit. I may see if I can turn the jacket inside out and resew the seam to be tighter.

And you said you were using a HT Banner body on that Han? Just want to clarify because I freaking love the look of that figure and I hope to put my own together.

Just got my Hoth Han in today, and am still disappointed that the scale with Luke is just off. But overall I'm pretty happy with the figure. If only Sideshow could add that extra touch of realism to their head sculpts like Hot Toys does, then their sculpts would really be at the Hot Toys level.

Video review uploading so stay tuned ;)

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Taking in a seam is probably the easiest fix to do, to make these outfits a bit more form fitting. And should work perfectly fine here.

One other thing I'm wondering is how hard it might be to use a parted out Hoth holster for the Bespin Han (since it does look a heckuva lot nicer). It's obviously made to fit around the much wider Hoth coat, but does it look like it could be taken in a bit or tightened up at all?

Yes, the Bruce Banner body... I had planned on selling mine, but looks like I'll be keeping it now :lol

I think it's possible and yes, the Hoth Holster is much nicer... I think the biggest thing is you'd need to reposition/remove some of the bits and pieces so the belt could be tightened up. And I really need to tighten up the leg strap on mine as it's super loose and looks funky even on the Hoth figure :lol

Sorry to be redundant, but want to be clear. Galactiboy, what body is used in this particular photo? It's a great look!

That is the Banner Body as well... I'll go back and add labels to all of them so it's easier to keep track of :lol
