The biggest issue with the Hasbro figures is the bodies suck. Some of the uniforms, gear, and weapons are very usable in my opinion.

Apart from being short in the arms for most other 'standard' bodies.

I remember when I put the grey Imperial officer suit onto a BBI body I had to pose him with his hands behind his back to conceal the problem!

I have that uniform on a Dragon body....looking for a pair of black gauntlet style gloves to correct that issue.

I think at this point it's better to just wait out and get the inevitable HT version.

Caught anything yet?

Yes, I prefer Hot Toys much better. I will leave the pre-order for the Scout as my first payment doesn't go until May. I can always cancel it but I will lose $25 in points. If Hot Toys announces either a Scout or a AT driver, I will cancel the Sideshow Scout.

I really hope HT doesn't distract themselves with the Scout or AT-AT Driver for the foreseeable future. The SS versions are more than acceptable and they need to focus on bringing me old versions of Han, Luke and Leia, Dang it!!!

I think characters like these are 3+ years away if they make them from ESB/Jedi specifically. Maybe sooner if they're featured at all in the spin-offs. They have such a deep bench of characters, though, could be even longer or never for stuff like AT-AT Driver.

Trying to find the Marmit ATAT thread, but this is my white-armor ATAT Driver (customized Marmit with new larger chestbox) that will stand next to my SSC grey-armor ATAT Driver, so thought I'd post it here. I overexposed the pics to match the pics I was using as reference. I'll post a clearer pic later.

Looks great. Nice work on the chestbox. Good stuff.

Thanks - I'm thinking about the snowtrooper officer too after seeing yours. Still not sure how to do a Veers helmet, and half hoping SSC will do him.

That crotch strap looks painful.

You'll notice I loosened the strap on the figure. :lol They're parachute straps so you have to wonder what the middle one does exactly.

Nice, very very nice. What base body is that? I just upgraded my marmit using a True Type, and I thought that was nice, but well done, sir!

Thanks!:hi5:

It's just a (later, e.g. Lando Skiff type) Hasbro body with the torso heavily modded. I like them because they are like slim/narrows once you cut down and elongate the torso.

I couldn't use a regular body because the Driver's helmet sits very low on the armor so the neck joint had to be custom. He can look up and down and turn his head but it was very tricky.
