SIDESHOW IN THE MOVIES

I recently saw the 40 Year Old Virgin and spotted many Sideshow Collectibles in that film. Can anyone think of any other films that had some Sideshow stuff?

Yeah, isn't that awesome? I remember watching the movie and trying to pick them all out. The part when he moves the Hellbeast Dracula statue on his bedstand so that it's not looking at him is hilarious Back when it came out we posted this interactive page that shows some of the product in the film:

There are a couple more movies coming out in 2007 that may feature some more Sideshow product - we'll keep you informed as we find out for sure!

I felt like such a loser watching 40 year old Virgin since I could identify most of the Sideshow product in the background. I was like there's the 1/4 scale Vampyre box, I have that. There's the Hellbeast. I used to have that. Then I cried for hours.

I think I saw a Sideshow Metaluna Mutant figure in the rich guy's house/office in the Benchwarmers. It is always fun to see something you recognize in a moive or on a TV show.

I know that he had a Snowbunny Padme maquette on his table in that movie too.

I can't remember it now, but there's probably a thread somewhere - a movie last year had, I think, the Masque of the Red Death figure featured prominently. For some reason Will Ferrell comes to mind, or maybe Ben Affleck...

Isn't that funny? I was watching the movie with my wife and kept pointing out all the Sideshow stuff and telling her , "hey that's such and such, etc"... She just kept making fun of me!

I have to admit, that was a sweet collection in the movie. I actually had that Mego Ironman and the Six Million Dollar man.

I did the same thing, pointing stuff out. Unfortunately that was the most entertaining part of watching that snoozefest.

Same here.... Yeah, the room may look like the 40 yr Old Virgin... but no VIRGIN am I! My days in the Orient were LEGENDARY!
