Man, it seems like I'm being hard on everything these days. Maybe it's just my grumpiness coming through, or maybe it's that with the rising prices we've seen over the last 2 - 3 months, I expect more. Sometimes, like with the Sideshow Indy or Clone Armor Obi-Wan, we get it. But other times, we don't.

Unfortunately, the new Ki-Adi-Mundi from Sideshow is one of those times. He has an excellent head sculpt, with pretty solid paint. But there are still a couple issues in those areas, and combine that with the use of the stubby looking small Buck body, very few accessories, and a very basic outfit, all at the inflated price of $70, and you get a pretty mediocre score from me.

May be a good excuse to buy a Buck on SSC. He really is too short. Thats my only issue. I am glad he is not on the PRO frankly.

I wonder if they plan to switch to the Pro body for most of the SW figures or not. I'm hoping the ones we've seen lately were just to far into the design phase to change the body. Here's hoping.

I thought he was on the regular. No wonder my Qui Gon transplant looked so good.

I hadn't noticed he was on the short Buck. According to IMDB the actor is 6' 3", so that makes little sense. I hope they didn't do that so they didn't need a larger format box for him.

Great review, Michael! You're absolutely about the smaller buck body throwing off his proportions!. Your pics really illustrate how "off" the balance is between his huge noggin and his little baby legs! Still, it's a nice figure, but not for $70!
