Sideshow Shadow/Blackhole Stormtrooper

As this is my own favorite incarnation of the Stormtrooper, I am glad that Sideshow fully intends to do this one as they stated in a recent Q-n-A.

And I sincerely hope that they do not make it a "store exclusive".

I would take a Spacetrooper as that is a legit, on screen variant, but that's it....

Well, it's not terribly difficult to convert a stormie to a shadow stormie... some black and silver spraypaint, and you're done! I think Crimsonbob did one using an SS stormie...

Prolly no variation in accesories or armor, only armor color... SS should make more important things, like ARC troopers, or Greedo... a 1/6 Wampa would be interesting... and so would Yoda, 3P0 and R2 by SS (I know medicom made the last 3... but they don't look good and are too small, I've heard)

I might consider IF they throw in some extra goodies you couldn't get from a plain stormie repaint... like some thermal dets or something... or a different blaster! Or a removable helmet with a nice headsculpt underneath...

It would be a pass for me , I already have 2 Stormies , a Stromtrooper Commander , 3 Sandtroopers , Han and Luke Stormer Disguise in my ranks plus the Sandtrooper Squad leader on order and will soon have the Black Pauldron Sandie on order enough is enough.

I am good with that. In fact, I almost wish, that with all the hate, this was the "store exclusive". It would sell so poorly that the retailers would cringe at another"exclusive", and that would be fine with me.

This will be the first Sideshow SW figure I've passed on since Yavin Luke. That's for a variety of reasons, of course. Not just because I'm uninterested. But also because I'm trying to be selective.

It is a smart move on their part to do this, though. Easy money.
