But as I read the technical description, it seems that having the company logo on the item could be a condition of having auctions removed.

Sideshow would have to report it to get the auction closed by VERO. But more importantly, they'd have to give a damn first. There's a #15 SSE Ardeth Bay bust that's continually listed in China (despite selling dozens of times) and Sideshow's done nothing to stop it. There are also many similar instances with other products like Alien, Endo and Predator busts, etc. Hell, here at SSF there's a whole SW recasting business in the Star Wars customs section with the clones, the Han and Luke disguised heads, etc., and a recasted Indy PF head resized to 1/6 that's in just about every custom snob's hands that Sideshow doesn't seem care about. Seems like they just don't care anymore.

I am really on the fence about this kind of thing. I seriously don't want to see Sideshow get ripped off. But I also think that if a person wants a replacement for a broken item or (like me) they want to use a re-cast like these so they don't break their original...I have a hard time hating on this kind of thing. I have thought seriously, myself, about finding the correct material and making a bunch of the ribbed body suits for clonetroopers for people who want to swap out the pleather ones for the better, more recent ones at a better price than the 40-50 dollars people are getting for them on ebay.

And hell, I am still looking in to that.

Typically, recasts lowers the value of the original product, but over time can sometimes make the originals that much more sought after.

I don't really care either way because I like my stuff regardless of the value anyone else puts on it.

These are inferior copies. The guy wants $60 per head but says they aren't for picky people. Ridiculous.
