Silly @$$ question.

I purchased this "back in the day" directly from Sideshow.

Mine is the EX version. It's still MIB/NRFB. Never bothered to open it and display it.

Over the years, I've seen it listed numerously on eBay and the supply dwindled. There are a few on eBay at the price is . . . high.

No. I'm not selling mine.

I'm curious as to how/why this particular statue is supposedly "sought after" and/or "highly priced"?

It's not even found/listed in the Sideshow archive section on their website.

I guess it's a combination of:

It looks good
Only 1500 were made (500 ex)
It sold out several years ago

Also I have no idea what the last one sold for, it might not have been the prices currently advertised

Reminds me of the gentle giant black widow in some ways, is just a great piece that won't be made again
