Yeah where is Daniel Craig! I cancelled all the other Legacy Bonds - I might reconsider if/when he's added to the line!

I don't collect the Bond figures, but I did love that movie...I told SS I would buy the DVD through amazon when they offered a 12 inch Craig figure....I might not be able to wait that long though and may need to take a trip to Target.....but atleast I tried. I hope for all the Bond collectors that they make one...it wouldn't be right if they didn't.

This omission is sickening. Especially now that I have seen the Craig figure from the Golden Compass line. If Corgi can get it done, then why not SS!

Yeah, it's a bit of a slap in the face, really.

Now, again, I have to assume that picture we all saw a while back WAS a SS Craig figure... meaning something did go wrong during the process, since it's been way too much of a delay at this point. Plus, quotes from SS employees seem to indicate it's not happening.

What worries me more than not getting Craig is the fact that, well, if we don't get him... is the line effectively dead? I had assumed that the Legacy figures were a build-up to a Craig announcement and Craig got cancelled after the others were announced or too far along to stop. Plus, the Legacy figures are really just a quick cash-in anyway, so why stop it?

So, really... ANYONE from SS... I'm not even looking for a clear answer on Craig... but how about a concise answer on the future of the line in general?

It's just that I'm a bit worried since many of the older 12" licences are beginning to... disappear... as it were, and without warning, at that.

Support customizers. There are three different Craigs up on ebay right now. If Sideshow ever gets around to making one, I would probably buy it for the suit an accessories, and have the head redone. A friend picked up one of the Plastic Earth customs and it is probably as close as Sideshow would get to a good likeness of Craig. I just can't afford to lay out the money for one of those right now. I just hope someone will take up the slack and start producing affordable ($40-$80) 1/6th figures of the quality of Sideshow product, and service the properties that SS is abandoning.

Do yourself a favour and buy one of Tinister's headsculpts and get a great paintjob by Mikey, Les, Josh or one of the other uber-talented painters on the board.

A little story...I've had Tinister's head on my desk at work ready to send off to Josh for a paint-up and everyone who comes into my office (senior partners included) have gone insane over it and saying how much it looks like Craig.

Photos really, really do not do this sculpt justice!

To get Sideshow to say anything about Bond is a miracle. I doubt we'll hear anything much. I'd say the line is effectively dead except for a few rehashes--if we're (un)lucky.

Hopefully they let it go and someone does pick up the slack.
